Murphy found us in 1997 on a cold winter evening in January. He had no collar, and was near starvation.
He has been the “best boy ever.” Keeping bears, coyotes, and chipmunks from invading our home when we lived in Glacier View. He joined our family with our dog Dusty, licking her in the face. He enjoyed swimming in the Poudre, hiking at Seaman’s reservoir, playing frisbee, catching tennis balls, and taking daily walks to “the school.” He trained our younger dog, “Joey” to “stick around,” play catch, and be a good boy. One of his “jobs” was to make sure that Joey behaved himself at Camp Bow Wow. Joey “really likes his older brother” and Murphy likes his “campfire treats.”
Murphy enjoyed a full life and enjoyed his family. He is still with us in spirit and memories.
Thank you to Jennifer at Home to Heaven.
Sincerely,
Sandy and Scott Hoffman
